CURRICULUM
Mohi Ud Din Islamic Medical College, Mirpur (AJK) has introduced a contemporary, integrated medical curriculum that not only satisfies the stringent requirements of the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC) but also reflects international best practices endorsed by the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME).
Designed collaboratively by our dedicated Department of Medical Education and a senior faculty Curriculum Committee, the program follows a progressive, module-based structure. It adopts a spiral learning approach, where core scientific and clinical concepts are revisited and reinforced throughout the early years, leading to a comprehensive final-year clerkship. Each module is overseen by a senior faculty member, guaranteeing cohesive content delivery, rigorous assessment methods, and a steadfast focus on ongoing quality improvement.
This curriculum underscores our dedication to developing a top-tier educational programme that will equip tomorrow's physicians with the knowledge, clinical skills, and adaptability essential for contemporary medical practice.
CURRICULUM OUTCOME:
The aim of the MBBS curriculum at Mohi Ud Din Islamic Medical College, Mirpur (AJK) is to produce competent, ethical, and professional physicians capable of delivering evidence-based, high-quality patient care. To achieve this aim, graduates will demonstrate the essential knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to serve as healthcare providers, decision-makers, communicators, managers, community leaders, researchers, and lifelong learners—contributing meaningfully to the well-being of individuals and communities.
