Job Description :

 Academic:

• Teach undergraduate students through lectures, small group discussions, practical demonstrations and case studies.
• Organizes and monitors academic activities of the students under guidance from Principal office.
• To conduct formative assessment of students and to provide feedback to them.
• Organize and monitor departmental research activities.
• Conduct research in PMDC/HEC approved journals.
• Collect and maintain records of teaching material e.g. slides, specimen, video clips, published papers etc.
• Propose amendments in curriculum and its implementation to keep it up-to date in the light of recent developments in the subject.
• Prepare MCQs and OSPEs.
• Training & development of demonstrators & support staff. 
• Participate in various workshops and training programs organized by the Department of Dental Education.

B. Management:

• Takes part in the organization of administration of the department.
• Inculcates & promotes professional ethical values among junior doctors & students and formally discuss such issues in group discussion / seminars etc.
• Ensure implementation of the decisions, traditions and values of the college as communicated to him directly and also proactively work for the vision and mission of the institution.
• Conduct and promote co-curricular and support activities of the students as advised by the college authorities from time to time.

C. Additional Responsibilities:

Any duty assigned by the Principal /HOD within the scope of this job.
