The Faculty of Arabic and Islamic Studies at Mohi ud Din
Islamic University in Nerian Shareef, Azad Jammu & Kashmir consists of
various elements. Department of Islamic Studies working with effect from 2014. M-Phil
in Islamic Studies has been Launched in spring 2014 and Ph.D in Islamic Studies
Launched in fall 2015 while BS Program was offered in fall-2018. Our functional

Master of Philosophy (M-Phil), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Arabic and
Islamic Studies, designed in accordance with the rigorous standards set by the
Higher Education Commission (HEC). We offer a comprehensive curriculum that not
only adheres to academic excellence but also promotes critical thinking and a
deep understanding of Islamic scholarship. Distinguishing our faculty are
specialized chairs such as the Seerah Chair, which explores the life and
teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW),and the Rumi Chair, focusing on the works
of the renowned Sufi poet Rumi. Our commitment to knowledge dissemination is
further exemplified through the Center of Translation and Publication and
contributing to global academia. The Journal of Islamic Studies, a
testament to our research culture, reflects the caliber of our faculty members.
