Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic leadership and vision for the ophthalmology department
- Teach and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in ophthalmology
- Conduct research and publish scholarly articles in reputable ophthalmology journals.
- Develop and implement curriculum for ophthalmology programs
- Supervise and guide research projects of students and junior faculty
- Participate in departmental and institutional administrative tasks
- Collaborate with other departments and institutions to advance research and education in ophthalmology.
- Stay up-to-date with advances in ophthalmology and incorporate them into teaching and research
